▪︎ This Banknote is considered to be Bulgaria's first Commemorative Banknote , issued to mark the 120th anniversary of the Bulgarian National Bank. These Banknotes from 1991 were Demonetized on July 31st 1998.

▪︎ The Obverse ( Front ) of the banknote features a portrait of Desislava , a Bulgarian Noblewoman and founder of the Boyana Church , based on a fresco fragment from the Church.
▪︎ The Reverse ( Back ) of the note depicts the Boyana Church , the old BNB Building and a sculptural image of a seated woman used on earlier Banknotes.
