Ceramic Laughing Buddha blue Robe Budai Hotei Vintage 20cm

Large glazed ceramic Laughing Buddha figure, also known as Budai or Hotei, wearing a deep blue robe and red prayer beads.

Approximately 20–21 cm tall.

The hollow underside has a central drilled opening and cable channels, indicating that the figure was intended or adapted for use as a table-lamp base. All electrical fittings, cable, bulb holder and shade are missing.

No maker’s mark has been found.

Used vintage condition with glaze crazing, surface marks, dust and wear. There may be small glaze losses or minor chips around the base. It is being sold as an untested decorative lamp-base project rather than as a complete working lamp.
