Past Times Peter Rabbit Welcome Gate Statue Beatrix Potter Garden Ornament New

Condition: New

Past Times Peter Rabbit Welcome Gate Statue, a Beatrix Potter garden ornament with its original Past Times tags still attached.

Peter Rabbit is shown squeezing under Mr McGregor’s garden gate, with “Welcome” carved into the top rail. It’s made of bronzed resin with a verdigris (green patina) finish, and the wood grain on the gate, the fur and the grassy base are all finely detailed. It works well by a front door, on a patio or in a flowerbed, or indoors as a decorative piece.

Officially licensed: base marked “Past Times, Frederick Warne & Co 2009”; Past Times tag coded AW11. Past Times closed in 2012, so these garden statues haven’t been sold new since and are now hard to find.
