Description

A Victorian porcelain “shoe”, with “From Brooklyn” written in gold lettering on the front. Sent from America as a gift in the 1890s to family left behind in Ireland. A reminder of emigration. There’s a tiny chip at the top, but not noticeable. A beautiful reminder of the past for so many.
