Hand-Carved Gemstone Blackbird on Crystal Geode Base

Part of a beautiful private collection being sold due to an upcoming international relocation. This is a stunning, hand-crafted gemstone sculpture of a classic male Blackbird—one of Ireland's most iconic garden birds.

Gemstone Details:

The Blackbird: Expertly hand-carved from solid, highly polished black obsidian/onyx, featuring deeply etched feather details across the body, wings, and tail. Accented with a carved yellow jasper beak and matching eye rings. Includes realistic silver-toned cast metal feet.

The Base: Perched on a spectacular natural agate geode node slice. The front face is flawlessly polished to reveal gorgeous concentric grey and cream agate bands surrounding a hollow, sparkling crystal-lined druzy center. The back is left in its rugged, natural state, mounted on a solid black granite display base.

Condition:
Immaculate vintage/cabinet condition. No chips, cracks, or wear to the stone carving or the polished agate face.
