1920s RAOB Fraternal Apron & Case
1920s RAOB Fraternal Apron & Case
Description
For sale is this beautiful 1920s Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB) ceremonial apron, complete with its original transit case. (Fondly known as 'The Buffs')
This set belonged to a member who achieved the high ranking of the "Roll of Honour" (ROH), indicated by the embroidered initials on the apron flap. The central emblem features the "GLE / RAOB" badge (Grand Lodge of England).
The suitcase and backside of the apron show signs of age related wear. Otherwise, this piece is in great condition for over 100 years old. See pictures for more.
