1928 vintage wooden fort.
Description
Here is a beautiful hand made wooden fort, made by a child's father for his son in Dublin in 1928.The family name is under my hand on the photos and I have full provenance for the buyer. The fort has a beautiful patina, has it's all important original paint..and no repairs have been carried out..(No Philip's head screws here..they didn't exist in 1928.)The base measures 15x14 inches and it is 16 inches tall at the tower turret. This is a great addition to any collection.Every thing is shown in the photos..Great that it is an Irish piece and I have all of the details on the child..who went on to become a leading Irish physician.Safe postage available at buyer's cost. Thanks for looking, please check out my other ads.
