A nineteenth-century print titled "Spring" (orig. Spring / La Primavera / Printemps)

A 19th-century print titled "Spring" (orig. *Spring* / *La Primavera* / *Printemps*), created based on a painting by the American artist Julius Rolshoven. This particular engraved rendition (an etching/copperplate engraving) is the work of the renowned French printmaker and painter Théophile-Narcisse Chauvel (some editions are also associated with the title *Connais-tu le pays*).
The print depicts a young woman in profile, walking through a meadow or field filled with flowers and carrying a large wicker basket brimming with freshly picked blossoms.
Along the bottom margin of the print, there are inscriptions in three languages: SPRING / LA PRIMAVERA / PRINTEMPS. On the left side, just below the composition, a facsimile is visible.
