Antique 19th Century English Pink Lustreware Miniature Creamer Jug - c.1850

Price: €15

Description:
A beautiful and genuine 19th-century antique English Pink Lustreware miniature creamer / milk jug, dating back to the Victorian era (circa 1840–1860). Likely crafted in the famous Staffordshire or Sunderland pottery regions.

The jug features charming double-sided hand-painted decorations with a traditional cottage landscape scene on one side and stylized pink lustre floral motifs on the other. It has an unmarked base, which is historically correct for export earthenware of this period. A lovely historic display piece for an antique collection or farmhouse decor.

Dimensions:

Miniature cabinet size (approx. 8-9 cm height).

Condition:
Good antique condition consistent with its great age of around 170 years. It features heavy, beautiful historic crazing throughout. Please note there are a couple of small old chips/flea-bites on the top rim and near the spout edge (see close-up photos), which is very common for utilitarian pottery of this vintage. Sold strictly as-is for display.

Collection Only from Dublin 15.
