All I can tell you is that the piece was bought by my father from an antique shop in Clanbrassal street sometime in The 1980's. I had it valued last year at between 200-250 euro.

– are there any signs of woodworm / insect holes?
– does it have any musty or old smell?
– what is the overall condition (structure, doors, drawers, glass – are they all original and fully functional)?

i think your offer is way too low...but I am happy to answer your questions anyway.
So, no woodworm/insects holes. There has never been woodworm in the house.
No musty smell-even after several years of not being opened often
Overall condition is perfect. As far as I know everything is original, the glass clearly looks old ( perfect, just has the look of old glass, not modern glass)
Hinges are working perfectly, drawers and doors too.
there is a functioning lock and key on the top glas unit.
