Description
A superb antique propelling pencil by W Lead, made in England circa 1895–1920. Crafted in silver-plated brass with fine engine-turned ribbing, it is 10 cm in length and features a beautiful red-colored cut-stone cabochon top.
Marked "W LEAD ENGLAND,” this design reflects the late Victorian–Edwardian era of precision British pocket stationery. The sliding propelling system operates perfectly, and the pencil remains in excellent condition with only light age patina.
