Antique security box
Description
Antique security brass box made in India in the 19th century. This is was normally used in wealthy households for keeping precious things safely locked away from the servants, much as the British used locked boxes for their precious tea in Victorian times. Beautifully hand hammered and engraved. Today it could be used in the same way for your precious things. Really heavy and solid.
The box is in good antique condition with a beautiful patina.
