Antique Wooden Hand-Cranked Barrel butter churn

Fantastic antique wooden hand-operated butter churn, an unusual survivor from traditional domestic and farmhouse life.Makers mark Waide and sons lt,Leeds making it likely late Victorian to early 20th century, approximately 1890–1930. Constructed from a large wooden stave barrel with original-style iron bands, hand-crank mechanism, gearing and fittings, mounted on its wooden stand.
A wonderful piece of social and domestic history and increasingly difficult to find in this largely complete, unrestored form.
It has been in storage for many years and remains as found, with aged timber, surface rust and general wear consistent with its age. I have deliberately not restored or altered it, preserving its original character.
Would make a brilliant piece for a collector, country pub, restaurant, farmhouse interior, museum/display, period film or theatre prop, or as a sympathetic restoration project.
