Art deco cigar ashtray Wilhelm Binder

Rare small Art Deco cigar ashtray made by Wilhelm Binder from Germany circa 1930's.

This 20th century crystal ashtray is a wonderful example of the Art Deco pieces done by this silversmith.

Made of beautifully designed heavy crystal with 925 solid sterling silver around the rim and one cigar holder. A beautiful piece.

Fully hallmarked with the silver hallmarks of a German crown with crescent. Content sign 925.

Makers Mark WTB of Wilhelm Binder - Schwäbisch Gmünd -Founded in 1869

This ashtray is in very good vintage condition.

Measurements:

Height 2 inches - 5 cm
Diameter 2.3/4 inches - 7 cm

There is some tarnish to the silver which should remove easily if wanted, however some folks like the more aged look and so I will leave it up to yourself.
