Beautiful Early 20th Century Inkwell and Inkstand set

Description

Beautiful early 20th-century antique desk inkstand and inkwell set. Perfect as a unique decor piece, historic prop, or addition to a writing enthusiast's desk.
The set includes:
• An organic, contoured dark wood base topped with a beautifully patinated brass/alloy plate.
• A central, green felt-lined hexagonal recess.
• A heavy, beautifully faceted cut-crystal hexagonal inkwell insert that nests perfectly into the base.

The wooden and brass base is structurally sound with an attractive vintage patina. Please note that the glass ink pot has chips on two of its base corners (see photos). It sits securely in the stand, and the chips are not really noticeable when it is nestled inside. The lid is missing.
