Barrel is made from heavy brass with a flared barrel, has clear London Proof House marks
Action: is a Percussion lock conversion from flintlock done in the 1820s approx features scroll engraving, and a nice solid Walnut stock with chequered wrist, silver escutcheon, shield on stock for initials and a pineapple finial. Strong action that holds half and full cock, nice overall piece by a good English maker, strong action, good stock and clear markings. Overall a v nice item for any collector.
