This a rare hand-knotted/woven and dyed,clean Beijing Rug. This was woven in the 1950's and it's in fabulous condition for a rug nearly 75 years old.
It's called a Dragon rug and is of the highest quality 350,000-400,000 knots per square meter.
(The higher the knot count the more expensive the rug)

Made of fine Cork wool (Its the finest wool sheared from the neck of the lamb.This wool that grows around the neck is known as the corkwool and is used only in very fine and special carpets. )of Unique quality by a Master Weaving craftsman
