This authentic vintage Persian Hamadan runner showcases the timeless artistry of village weaving traditions from the Hamadan province.
Measuring 230cm by 85cm, this piece is perfectly proportioned for a hallway or entryway where it can serve as a durable yet sophisticated focal point. The rug features a classic geometric composition centered around a series of interconnected diamond medallions that run the length of the field. Each medallion is intricately detailed with stepped edges and internal cruciform motifs, creating a sense of rhythmic movement and depth.
​The color palette is remarkably vibrant, anchored by a deep madder red field that provides a warm and inviting foundation. These rich red tones are beautifully offset by ivory and cream accents within the borders and geometric highlights.
