Description
Here is a wonderful early 20th century hand carved teak figure of a lady..This was most probably a wedding gift and the figure would represent good luck in fertility for the bride.The piece is 11 inches tall and weighs just under 900 grams.It is very well carved and the tight grain of the teak shows very well throughout the piece.It is not unlike a piece by the Irish sculptor Liam Roe..though from a different ethnicity.Registered post is available for an additional five euro.Thanks for looking please check out my other ads.
