Up for grabs is an absolutely fascinating vintage crossover piece. This is an authentic vintage stable belt that belonged directly to a Garda who graduated from the Training College in Templemore in 1965.
It was very common for mid-century Guards to source tough, heavy-duty military-style stable belts to wear as rugged "station wear" under their heavy uniform tunics during long, grueling shifts.
