Indie Rock Band 3 PM Single

3 PM from the wider Burtonport - Dungloe area of West Donegal were an indie rock band during the mid-1980's. They consisted of Pat Gallagher, vocals and guitar, Pat Cannon, bass, Peter Healy, drums and Martin O'Hara, guitar and vocals..Hence the name. Pat Gallagher and Peter Healy had previously been involved with another well known Donegal band: Double Vision. Picture On The Wall, a song about Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco, was recorded in Dublin in1985. The B-side was The Wall. Both songs were written by Pat Gallagher, who later departed the band during the summer of 1985. With the absence of their main songwriter, the remaining members continued on as a three piece to fulfill a few gigs, but then decided to call it a day. Pat Gallagher and Peter Healy later went on to form the extremely popular folk-rock band: Goat's Don't Shave. whilst Martin O;Hara
worked on various backing tracks for television documentaries. The single, which was produced by Deke O"Brien, is in mint unplayed condition.
