A chance to own a piece of Irish art history. John Skelton is a renowned Irish artist, I've included some images of his most famous work as well as some that sold recently and the price they went for. I also attached a screenshot of a pencil drawing you can buy for 400 as a comparison to what you can get here for much less than an actual John Skelton painting. I've attached the email from Whytes auctioneers showing it is genuine.

@2013e hi, no nothing at all like that. The email is from whyte's auctioneers, a real and reputable place. A letter of authenticity can be forged i guess but i've never seen one for artwork.

Thanks for reply. I bought a couple of j skeltons paintings years ago with came with a document stating authenticity. Beautiful painting

@2013e ok, they were probably from an art dealer or proper shop. I'm just a bloke selling a few things on adverts. I could make a certificate of authenticity but it wouldn't mean anything. The certificate you got was probably just as authentic however an email attestation from Whythe's auction house can't be questioned. That's the provenance you want.
