Description

Description: A stunning and rare Victorian-style Majolica cheese keeper featuring a highly detailed "Oak Bark" textured dome and a matching "Oak Leaf" relief base. Finished in a rich lead glaze with vibrant forest greens and warm wood tones.
This is a substantial, heavy piece originally designed for serving Stilton cheese. It makes a magnificent centerpiece for a dining table or a standout display piece for a dresser.
Design: Naturalistic oak bark texture with green leaf sprigs and a branch-style handle.
Condition: Good vintage condition. There is a chip gone on the base underneath. Open to offers.
