Large Early 20th Century Irish Bronze Crucifix Made in Eire

Description

Substantial vintage bronze wall crucifix, marked Made in Éire on the reverse and believed to date from approximately the 1920s to 1940s.
The crucifix features a raised figure of Christ with strong sculptural detail, a dark aged patina and traces of natural oxidation. It is exceptionally heavy and substantial for its size, weighing approximately 909g.
