A full colour election poster signed by Martin Mc Guinness (R.I.P.).


On front, a smiling Martin McGuinness with a tie and jacket. Martin McGuinness name, Sinn Féin and X (as in put X to vote)on front. Poster's colours are green, white and orange.


On back Martin McGuinness in black lettering with X.


BUT this election poster is a real election poster from the 1997 or 2001 Westminister Election (X). Martin was an MP for the Mid-Ulster area.


Size is cms X cms. (T.B.C.)


Quite a plain signature - can be compared on-line to Martin's signature on other political documents.


Little piece of smudging on bit of name.


Holes in election poster where it was tied to a lamp post or telegraph pole etc.


I'm not going to go into detail of who Martin Mc Guinness was but it's fair to say he was a giant in Irish politics in Ireland and much further afield.


As far as I'm aware, a smaller paper version poster was auctioned in 2020 at Mee's Auction house in Cavan starting at 140 euro. No idea of how much it went for.


This is a proper election poster - the white corregated type plastic that is used in election posters - for outside use etc.


It is not paper as above auction house one. Plus it's 6 years old and will only increase in value as time progresses.
