Pye "Black Box" hi-fi record player, a landmark piece of mid-century British audio equipment originally introduced in 1954.

Design: This particular unit features a distinctive curved, high-gloss walnut or mahogany veneered wooden case designed by renowned industrial designer Robin Day.

Features: The circular gold emblem on the front lower right corner is the iconic vintage Pye logo. The side dials control volume and tone settings, while the lid opens upward to reveal an automatic record changer mechanism (typically manufactured by BSR Monarch or Garrard).


The cabinet is highly polished mahogany with maple stringing.
