The book is in mint condition with clean, crisp pages throughout. It has been glanced through once or twice, but has otherwise remained safely shelved and out of reach since its acquisition at the restaurant in 2006. The cover is like new and there are no noticeable creases or marks on any of the pages.

Written in collaboration with then co-owner Claus Meyer, Noma set the standard for innovation in gastronomy for Nordic cuisine and haute cuisine globally. This cookbook contains the groundbreaking recipes that helped the restaurant repeatedly earn the title of the world’s no.1 restaurant. In 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2021 it was ranked as the ‘Best Restaurant in the World’. The restaurant has featured in Restaurant Magazine's World's 50 Best Restaurant Awards every year since 2006, generally ranking in the top 5 up until 2022 when the award rules were changed to make it ineligible as a past winner.

There are some staff signatures on the opening page from a memorable visit to the restaurant in 2006 and following the cookbook’s publication, which further adds to the uniqueness of this already historic and enormously influential piece of culinary literature.

With the restaurant now transitioning from the traditional operating model to an online one by the end of 2024, this cookbook heralds the end of an era for NOMA as a new chapter begins with world-renowned chef Rene Redzepi remaining at the helm.
