Original 1950s French industrial safety poster, issued by the Institut National de Sécurité, Paris and marked HAVAS and N°017.
Striking period artwork depicting the danger of long, unprotected hair becoming caught in industrial machinery, with the dramatic “ACCIDENT!” warning.
A superb example of mid-century French industrial graphic design with strong red, black and grey colouring.
Measures approximately 27 × 21 cm.
In very good original vintage condition, with only light age and handling wear. Please see photographs for full condition.
