Original signed mix media painting by New York artist Bobby Kareem Hill

Today we offer an early, original, hand embellished screen print with mixed media by American illustrator and artist, Bobby Kareem Hill.
Bobby Hill (b. 1973), is a New York based visual artist whose career started as an illustrator. He began painting on canvas in 2008 after returning to the US from his first trip overseas.
His recent canvases combine ripped NYC billboard posters with elements of abstract expressionism, pop imagery and graffiti to create what he calls “The Bhillboards Collection.”
His work has been commissioned by Coca Cola, Nike, XXL Magazine, Slam Magazine, The Source Magazine and The James Luxury Hotels.
He has also been featured in Mass Appeal Magazine, Gen Art, Max Fish, The Grey Worldwide Gallery, The Art Directors Club, a number of events in Chelsea, Soho, Williamsburg, Bushwick NYC and several galleries in Europe.
He briefly founded his own brand of bOB hiLL t-shirts and has sold countless artworks to various celebrity buyers.
Printed onto 200lb heavyweight, this unique, early artwork measures 56cm by 36cm. It is unframed, signed ‘Bobby Hill’ and dated ‘2008’ to the right. The verso retains ink transfer and is again hand signed with the dedication ‘To Stuart from Bobby Hill, 2008’ and the contact inscriptions (which can’t be mentioned in the post, advert ie rules)
Bobby K. Hill continues on his mission ‘to add something new to the language of art’. After working with mediums like paper since the 90s, my goal is to expand my practice to a wider variety of mediums. Some of my inspirations include Ernie Barnes, Picasso, Keith Haring, Matisse, Kerry James Marshall and Japanese line art. His current exhibition at L’Space Gallery on New York’s West 19th Street is a collaboration of works with Coby Kennedy, entitled ‘Conditions of Inheritance’.
