Have you tested the pen with ink? Is there leakage from the ink reservoir? Does it write smoothly? I'd be interested in buying it, but it has to be in working condition and reasonable cosmetic condition.

€40 OFFERED
I understand that this is a vintage pen and that it may have some value. However, considering its age, it may require some servicing or repairs before it can be used properly, and there is also some uncertainty about its working condition.
For that reason, I would be happy to make you a reasonable offer and take the pen as it is, in its current condition, without asking you to carry out any repairs.
I hope you can consider my offer, and if you are happy with it, I would be pleased to buy it from you. Of course, the decision is entirely yours.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

“I will need to spend an additional €30 on the bus, as I will be travelling from Dublin. This will bring the total cost to €75. Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.”

€50 OFFERED
Hi, I’m really interested in the fountain pen and I appreciate the condition it’s in. I understand you’re asking €76, but I was hoping you might consider €50. I know it’s below your asking price, but €50 is the amount I’m comfortable with. If that works for you, I’d be happy to complete the purchase right away. I hope we can make a deal. Thank you!
