For sale is a small Catholic souvenir medal of the type for sale to those visiting the Vatican. This medal shows an image of Pope Paul VI with his name PAULUS VI. The other side has an image of the St. Peter's bascilica with the word ROMA.

DESCRIPTION:
Size (medal): about 19/32" across (15mm). Medal with ribbon about 2 1/2" length (61mm).
Material(s): white metal alloy.
Finish: nickel or tin wash.
Fitting: bale to take the ribbon.
Imprint: no maker's or engraver's mark.
Approximate age: 1960s / 1970s.

CONDITION:
Very good condition. No damage. Some wear to the thin nickle or tin wash on both sides commensurate with age and use. The medal may benefit from a clean. Ribbon in good clean condition.
