Original military‑issue portable searchlight with heavy-duty olive‑green body, large front lens and built‑in colour filter system (green, amber, red). Rugged construction with metal housing, original handle, latch and stamped military NSN number.This unit uses the old Chloride military battery pack, now discontinued, which is why it currently doesn’t light up. The lamp can be restored to working order by fitting a modern low‑voltage power supply or replacing the bulb and wiring — a straightforward project for anyone familiar with vintage electrics.Ideal for militaria collectors, man‑cave décor, film/prop use or restoration.
