RABBIT WARE Japanese Four vintage tea bowls

Description

Lovely set of 4 Japanese tea bowls in very good condition. They each have 2 little rabbit decorations on the outside of the bowl. The inside of the bowls have little flower decorations. They measure circa 2 inches high and 4.5 inches wide.

What is the Japanese saying about rabbits?

Literally: he who chases after 2 rabbits will catch neither. Meaning that in doing 2 things at the same time, success will not be possible in either. *This proverb is also known as: Abuhachi torazu (#L**HX
