For sale is a membership enamel badge issued by the RAILWAY VEHICLE PRESERVATIONS (RVP) and shows their logo that is still in use with them.

The RVP were established in 1968 for the preservation and maintenance of historic railway rolling stock. Initially called the Lea Valley Railway Carriage & Wagon Society, their name was changed to the RVP in 1975 and in 1991 moved to Loughborough where they remain to this day. Since the early 2000’s the RVP have concentrated on the restoration and maintenance of LNER (London & North Eastern Railway) and railway postal stock.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" (32mm x 32mm).
Material(s): brass metal with 4 enamels.
Finish: tin plated.
Fitting: pin.
Imprint: none.
Approximate age: about late 1970's to early 1980's.

CONDITION:
Excellent condition. No damage. Pin in working order.
