Rare 1930s Art Deco Melba Bone China 21-Piece Tea Set - Imari Pattern 3312

Description

For sale is a beautiful, complete 21-piece vintage fine bone china tea service for 6 people. Manufactured in England during the Art Deco era (circa 1930s) by the renowned Staffordshire pottery firm Mayer & Sherratt at the Clifton Works, Longton.
This set features the highly sought-after, traditional Japanese-inspired Imari palette (Melba Pattern Number 3312). The design combines deep cobalt blue borders and delicate floral garland transfers, meticulously finished with hand-painted rust-orange details and rich gold gilding.
The square-shaped accent plates and scalloped rims make this a striking statement piece for afternoon tea or a stunning addition to a china display cabinet.
Perfect vintage condition. The entire set has been exceptionally well cared for over the decades.
