Beautiful, authentic 19th-century Victorian "skeleton frame" hand-crank sewing machine made by Charles Raymond (circa 1860s-1870s). Highly collectible open-frame design with iconic S-curve cast ironwork.
Stunning original hand-painted pink floral stencils still visible on the bed plate.
Elegant original gold leaf pinstriping remaining on the faceplate and frame.
Solid, heavy cast iron with beautiful aged patina and minor surface oxidation appropriate for its 150+ year history.
Hand-crank wheel and exposed gears turn free and smoothly
