Description
Brilliant mid century satire porcelain wall plate by cartoonist Ernst Maria Lang for the Rosenthal studio-line range. Made in the 60s, This limited edition plate features famous ex German chancellor Willy Brandt with the wording "wir sind keine erwählten, wir sind gewählte" Which translates to We are not chosen, we are elected. The language is German.
A delightful gift for a Rosenthal collector or the special person in your life! Mid century cool!
Fully back-stamped with the designers name. Limited edition no.4392/5000. Comes with the box.
