Large Chinese Porcelain Vase – Birds, Floral Decoration & Chinese Knot

A very attractive and unusual large Chinese / Oriental decorative porcelain vase, featuring a wonderful mixture of traditional designs and colours.

The main body is decorated with finely drawn birds, flowers and foliage, complemented by a deep cobalt-blue floral band around the upper section and broad hand-painted green bands.

An especially attractive feature is the traditional red Chinese decorative knot and tassel, threaded through purpose-made holes near the neck and finished with small decorative beads and a pale green pendant.

The vase has a substantial rounded form with a gently flared rim and decoration extending around the entire body.
