Vintage 1960s Carlton Ware "Flowers Keg" Pub Ashtray Shakespeare Breweriana

For sale is an authentic, mid-century modern ceramic pub ashtray made by the renowned British pottery house Carlton Ware. This triangular, cobalt blue porcelain piece was produced in the 1960s as a commercial advertising item for Flowers Brewery, famously featuring a vibrant portrait illustration of William Shakespeare at its center.

The front reads "FLOWERS KEG" in bold lettering, and the base features the genuine, stamped Carlton Ware cursive trademark script ("Made in England").

A fantastic piece of vintage breweriana that is perfect for collectors, home bar setups, man caves, or as a unique retro display piece.

Condition:
Good vintage condition for its age. The central Shakespeare graphic and deep blue glaze are bright and beautifully preserved. It shows some light, authentic age-related surface wear, minor rubbing to the gold-gilded rim, and typical shelf wear on the unglazed foot ring as pictured.
