Description: This is a beautiful, highly collectible 1966 hardback impression of "Once Long Ago: Folk and Fairy Tales of the World." Retold by the famous Oxford Inkling member Roger Lancelyn Green and published by Golden Pleasure Books.
This book is heavily collected due to the stunning, bold mid-century illustrations throughout by the legendary paper engineer and artist Vojtech Kubasta.
Dust Cover: Present and structurally intact, which is incredibly rare for this title. It features a couple of very minor vintage edge tears but presents beautifully. It has been kept safely inside a loose plastic protective sleeve to prevent any further wear.
Binding & Boards: Strong, flat, and tight hardback boards.
Interior: Clean, bright pages with incredibly vibrant color printing.
There is a neat historical Christmas gift inscription on the inner page dated "Xmas 1966".
