Description
Original vintage Betterwear “Better Wax Polish” sample tin, dating approximately from the 1950s/60s.
Lovely period advertising graphics featuring a woman polishing a floor, with “Antiseptic Betterwear – The Better Wax Polish” to the front.
The reverse is marked:
“FREE TEST – MANUFACTURERS SAMPLE – NOT FOR SALE”
Manufactured by Betterwear Products Ltd., Romford.
The tin still contains some of its original wax polish and is a nice surviving piece of mid-century British household advertising.
In genuine vintage condition with surface wear, marks, paint loss and some corrosion consistent with its age. It has been lightly cleaned but not restored. Please study the photographs for condition.
