Vintage 50's / 60's Wonder Lantern
Description
Original vintage French WONDER Type “AGRAL” metal hand lantern, dating approximately from the 1950s–1960s.
Unusual dual-purpose design featuring a large front spotlight and a rectangular red warning lens to the rear, with folding carrying handle and rotary control on top.
Clearly embossed WONDER to the front and WONDER Type “AGRAL” to the rear. The inside also retains the original embossed instructions specifying a Wonder ULTRA bulb and Wonder AUDAX battery.
Shows genuine age-related wear throughout, including scratches, paint loss, tarnishing and surface oxidation. A great original piece of vintage French industrial/utility lighting.
Approx. 20cm × 10cm × 13cm.
