Vintage G.B. Kent & Sons Novelty Cricket Bat Clothes Brush - c.1912/1913 - Real Ebony

Condition Report:
The brush is in good, structurally sound, vintage condition with a beautiful aged patina to the wood. The original twine grip wrap remains intact. The natural/nylon hybrid bristles are firm and complete. As is very common with these specific novelty pieces from age and use, there is a minor chip/indent on the top flat edge of the bat frame. This does not impact display value and has been left untouched to preserve the item's historical integrity and original finish. Please see all macro photographs to evaluate the condition

An exceptional, highly collectible Edwardian-era novelty gentleman's clothes brush shaped like a miniature cricket bat. This premium piece was produced by Great Britain's oldest and most prestigious royal warrant brush manufacturer, G.B. Kent & Sons.
The design features a beautifully shaped wooden bat blade housing a premium bristle insert, complete with a traditional cord-wrapped twine grip handle that mimics a real vintage cricket bat.
