The set includes four highly distinct, smoke-wear seasoned pipes ranging from classic French factory craftsmanship to intricate European fraternal folk art.

1. Hand-Carved Fraternal RAOB "Buffalo" Pipe

Details: Crafted from premium briar wood, featuring a meticulously sculpted bull/buffalo head silhouette with textured fur detailing. It features a genuine bone eye medallion and belongs to the historic British Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB) fraternal tradition.

Condition: Stamped "ANTIQUE" and shape code "313" on the shank. Shows a rich, dark carbon cake inside. Please note one natural bone horn insert is missing from the forehead, adding to its genuine vintage character.

2. Ropp "Real Cherry" Bark-Shank Pipe

Details: An authentic French-made piece from the historic workshops of Saint-Claude. Features a beautifully preserved, rugged natural cherry tree bark shank and a smooth, rich contrast bowl.

Condition: Cleanly stamped "Real Cherry / Bruyere / Made in France" on the base. Excellent vintage condition with a tight bark seam.

3. Ropp "Cherry Wood" Flat-Bottomed Poker Pipe

Details: A classic freestanding "sitter" style poker pipe. It features natural horizontal cherry bark wrapping around a cylindrical bowl, paired with a short, comfortable saddle bit stem.

Condition: Stamped with the official "Cherry Wood / France" arc and a central grading letter "C". The flat base is perfectly stable. Minor vintage chipping to the lacquer coating near the stem collar as expected with age.

4. Ethnographic Chip-Carved Tripod Pipe

Details: A unique piece of regional folk art featuring incised geometric diamond bands along a segmented wood stem. Features an integrated tripod base carved from raw branch twigs allowing it to stand completely upright on its own.

5. Solid Wood 4-Slot Display Rack

Details: A sturdy, tiered unbranded dark wood stand designed specifically to balance and display up to four pipes securely.

Condition Note:

All pieces are in original, un-restored vintage condition, retaining their authentic historic patina and carbon lining from real past use. Stems show minor, typical surface oxidation easily cleaned with mineral oil.
