Vintage German lighter

Description

This item is a vintage German semi-automatic lift-arm petrol table lighter, manufactured around the 1930s to 1950s.
Specifically, this design features an engine-turned chrome or nickel-plated body mounted to a flared, multi-tiered metal pedestal base, allowing it to sit flat on a desk or coffee table.
Mechanism: It operates via a spring-loaded, semi-automatic mechanism. When the thumb trigger mechanism on top is pressed, the spring-loaded arm snaps open. This movement rotates the internal friction wheel.
