Vintage Hong Kong Harbor Junk Ships Art C Yuen Tsu

Vintage Hong Kong Harbor Junk Ships Art C Yuen Tsu

Original vintage artwork depicting the iconic Victoria Harbor in Hong Kong at night. The piece shows traditional Chinese junk boats with colorful sails floating on the water. In the background the illuminated skyline of Hong Kong and the outline of Victoria Peak are visible under the dark night sky. The technique appears to be a combination of charcoal and pastel on a dark background creating a soft yet vibrant contrast.

A unique highlight of this item is the original artist label attached to the back of the wooden frame. The label identifies the artist as C Yuen Tsu a specialist in charcoal pastel and oil portraits from photographs operating via mail order from Kowloon Hong Kong. The address printed on the label is 49 Fuk Lo Tsun Road 1st FL Kowloon Hong Kong.

The artwork comes in a simple vintage wooden frame with glass and the original hanging wire on the back. The frame shows minor signs of age and wear which add to its vintage charm. The artwork itself under the glass remains well preserved.
