Vintage Mid-Century Black Rexine Suitcase

Description

Mid-century vintage suitcase covered in classic black Rexine (faux pebbled leather).  Black exterior with a paisley patterned paper interior lining (possibly indicating Pioneer make).  Original Cheney metal locks (missing keys, but currently unlocked).  Reasonable vintage condition. The exterior Rexine is clean and the interior paper lining is largely intact with some small missing pieces around the sides. Elastic is perished in the two interior pockets. The sides have some vintage bowing from storage. Size is 21 by 13 by 6 inches.  Great character piece for retro home styling or theater production.  Collection from Castleknock.
