Schramberger Majolikafabrik in Germany
The "Siena" pattern features hand-painted folk art motifs with concentric geometric designs, fine black dotted rings, and warm earth tones (ochre, red-orange, and brown) against a muted olive or cream background. The wavy, ruffled rim is accented with a contrasting pink or terracotta glaze border.
SMF Schramberg was originally founded in 1820 in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The company became widely famous for its high-quality majolica and hand-painted art pottery, employing prominent mid-century modern designers over its operational history before ultimately closing in 1989
