Vintage Rabone Chesterman Fibron No. 291 100ft Measuring Tape

Vintage Rabone Chesterman Fibron 100ft measuring tape, made in England.

A substantial enclosed reel measuring tape with its original blue circular casing, folding winding handle and metal belt or carrying clip. The tape extends as shown in the photos and has clear imperial measurements.

In good vintage condition overall. The casing has some light marks from use, while the tape and metal fittings show age-related wear and discolouration. The complete length and winding mechanism have not been fully tested, so it is being sold accordingly.

An interesting collectable British measuring tool that would also suit a workshop, industrial display or surveying collection.
