Hi Bob. The radio belongs to my father in law who is doing a house downsizing. He’s had the radio since new, but hasn’t used for a number of years. The radio was fully function but hasn’t been moved or turned on since - it has sat in the same space on the bookcase in the living room since 1970+. We plugged it in and it didn’t work. It may be the valves or something else….but I would imagine to someone who knows these things, it should be simple. The wooden case etc is original and in great Nick….remembering it hasn’t moved in years
